Stone's first day of Kindargarten

All went well for the first day of school. He was a little nervous and had a hard time with me leaving but when I picked him up he said he had a great day! (hopefully he keeps that same attitude by the end of the school year!) I will keep you updated.

I love it..............

Tic Tac anyone?

Stone and Max dug up a worm in the backyard the other day. It was too funny! Stone HAD to wear the gloves and Max thought it was cool but had no interest in touching it!! I don't blame him.
Stone thought it would be a good idea to capture it and keep it forever in a tic tac container. We ended up putting dirt in it and I think it was left outside.
Shane probably threw it away!! Thanks honey! Yuck!

Insert foot

Owen's favorite thing during Stone's t-ball games is to lay on a blanket and eat his feet. He will do this for the entire hour. He babbles, smiles, and laughs. It's very entertaining!!

Happy Easter!!

Here are a few pictures from Easter. We had Shane's family over for a nice Easter lunch/dinner. Then we had a quiet evening at home and ate lots of candy!

Warning.....

All I can say is "Look at that belly"!!

His bottom is pretty cute too!! Hee hee. Sorry Owen!

Potty Time

It's about that time. Max has been wanting to use the potty more often now. I wish I had more time to really work on this because I have a feeling he is going to be an easy one to train. He turns 2 next month and I think he's ready to be a big boy. He gets so excited after he "goes potty in the big boy potty". But sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get to that point. Wish us luck on our adventure.

Owen

As you can see from these pictures, Owen is a very happy baby. He smiles so easily and loves to babble.

We've been trying to give Owen as much time on his tummy as we can these days. At his 4 month check-up his doctor told me that he wants Owen to be seen by a developmental therapist to evaluate him. He is not pushing up with his arms, he isn't reaching for toys, or bearing any weight on his legs. We have our first apt. on Wed. Hopefully he is just a little behind from being born 5 weeks early. I will keep you all informed when we hear more from the therapist.

Boys, boys, boys

Arn't my boys so handsome? I sure think so but I may be a little bias. Have a look see for yourself.

Come here

Max learned this after me trying to get him to "come here". It is so cute that I felt you needed to see it. Enjoy!

Winter Wonderland

Brrrr......we've had some very cold temperatures, an ice storm, and a couple inches of snow. The temperature got below zero today and by Friday it should be in the 40s. Only in Indiana can you see such extreme weather.

I wish I lived somewhere warmer.

Meeting Santa

Tired from waiting in line. (we were at the very end)

Max didn't care for him much, can you tell? Maybe next year will be better.

Sleep........anyone?

Hoesli boys

Here's our first picture of all three boys together. Don't mind the clothes.....I think all three are in their pjs. Stone and Max are great big brothers to Owen. They love any chance they get to hold him. Owen does not mind either, as long as someone is holding him he's happy!!

Happy Halloween!!

This was Max's first year trick-or-treating. He loved it and made sure to tell everybody bye-bye as we were leaving the door. This was the first time he's really ever had any candy and he loved that too. He makes quite a good little bee don't you think?

Stone wanted to be a ghost pirate again. That made it easy on us in the costume department.

Owen stayed at home with grandma and passed out candy. We didn't dress him up or even take any pictures with him because he was sleeping and I didn't want to wake him.

Fall 2008

After being in the house all week I decided it was time for an outing. So we packed up the diaper bag with snacks and plenty of diapers (we now have 2 kids in them) and headed off to Hilger's farm for a day of fun. This is a yearly trip we take. It's only 15 minutes from the house and they have so much for the kids to do including picking out a pumpkin. Owen did great. Max loved all the smells and pumpkins. Stone had fun on the moonwalk slide and running through all the hay mazes.

All and all it was fun for the whole family and the boys were pretty tired when we got home. Which makes it nice for bedtime to come!
